Viking Sky in Kusadasi, October 2026: Private Taxi to Ephesus
Viking Sky is due in Kusadasi on 18 and 24 October 2026, times not published. A private taxi plan for Ephesus, the Virgin Mary's House, Artemis, Şirince.
Viking Sky has two Kusadasi calls in the next twelve months, and both are close: Sunday 18 October and Saturday 24 October 2026. The public schedule does not show arrival or departure times for either. If you are on board, your own cruise documents or the ship's daily programme will have them before we do, so they are the first thing to send us when you book a private taxi.
Good to know: our standard cruise port taxi is the round trip to Ephesus. The House of the Virgin Mary, the Temple of Artemis and Şirince are not part of the Ephesus transfer; they can be added as extra stops for an additional charge. Tell us which ones you want when you book.

On 18 October two other ships are in port. Celebrity Infinity is listed from 08:00 to 20:00 that day, so Ephesus will see visitors from three ships; leave the port as early as you can. 24 October is a two-ship day.
Late October is generally a good month for walking around Ephesus: the summer heat is over. Days are shorter, though, and autumn rain is possible, so bring a light layer and shoes with grip for the marble paving.
Read your times, then pick the route
Use the hours between arrival and departure. Our planning estimate already allows about 30 minutes to get off the ship and puts you back at the port at least 60 minutes before departure (or before all-aboard, if that is earlier):
- 8 hours or more: the full loop. Port to the House of the Virgin Mary (30-35 minutes; 45-60 minutes there), down to the Ephesus upper gate, a two-hour walk to the lower gate where the driver waits, the Temple of Artemis (15-20 minutes), then Şirince (60-90 minutes) and back to the port (30-35 minutes).
- About 6.5 hours: the same without Şirince.
- About 5 hours: Ephesus and the Temple of Artemis only.
- Less than 4.5 hours: do not plan a round trip to Ephesus.
The Terrace Houses at Ephesus take another 30-45 minutes and need a separate ticket; on an 8-hour day they fit if you give Şirince a little less time. Traffic and queues vary, so all of this is a guide, not a timetable.
What to expect from the Viking Sky Kusadasi taxi
- Your driver waits at the port exit holding a sign with your name.
- The vehicle is private, for up to 8 passengers. If your group is bigger, we send a second vehicle.
- Free child seats when you tell us the ages.
- Waiting at every stop is part of the service; the day ends back at the ship.
- Tickets are not included; you pay at each entrance. This is a transfer, not a guided tour.
- Cash payment to the driver on the day (EUR, USD or TL), no prepayment.
We are a local D2-licensed transfer company in Kusadasi. Check current Ephesus opening hours on muze.gov.tr.
Because both calls are only weeks away, send your request soon through the cruise port taxi booking page with the date, the times from your cruise documents and the number of passengers. See also Viking Sky at Kusadasi, the Şirince taxi from the cruise port and our plan for Viking Neptune.
