We compare the best beaches in Kusadasi: Ladies Beach, Long Beach, Paradise Beach, Guzelcamli National Park, Pygale. Which beach is right for you?

Kusadasi is one of the busiest holiday resorts on the Aegean coast. There are 5+ beaches in the town centre alone, plus a total of 15+ coves including the surrounding villages. They are not all the same — some are for families, some for partygoers, some for nature lovers. To choose the right beach, read this guide.

The 5 beaches compared

| Beach | Suits | Distance (centre) | Entrance | |---|---|---|---| | Ladies Beach | Family, classic holiday | 3 km | Free | | Long Beach | Family, lively | 5 km | Free (paid loungers) | | Paradise Beach | Quiet, romantic | 8 km | Paid (€5) | | Guzelcamli National Park | Nature, trekking | 25 km | €5 per vehicle | | Pygale Beach | Nature, secluded | 18 km | Free |

1. Ladies Beach

Kusadasi's most classic beach. It got its name from when it was women-only; today everyone goes.

Pros:

  • 3 km from the town centre, minibus 15 TL
  • Plenty of restaurants, bars, ice cream
  • Shallow sea, safe for children
  • Lively atmosphere

Cons:

  • Very busy in summer, finding a towel spot is hard
  • Traffic noise at the back of the beach
  • Water not crystal clear (because of the crowds)

Getting there: Private transfer from the hotel 15 min · taxi ~200 TL · minibus 15 TL (public bus), 15 min

2. Long Beach

A 5 km stretch of sand on the way to Guzelcamli. Known as a family beach.

Pros:

  • 5 km long — there's always space
  • Clean sand + clear water (better than Ladies Beach)
  • Many all-inclusive hotels along the shore
  • Aquafantasy + Adaland water parks nearby

Cons:

  • Main road at the back, some noise
  • Sunbeds + umbrellas for hire (daily ~€10-15)
  • Along a strip — no panoramic angle

Getting there: Private transfer 15-20 min · taxi ~300 TL · minibus 25 TL

3. Paradise Beach

Between Guzelcamli and Dipburnu. Small but romantic.

Pros:

  • Secluded, quiet
  • Crystal-blue water (much cleaner than Ladies + Long)
  • Restaurant + umbrella package deals
  • Fantastic for photos

Cons:

  • Small beach — fills up on summer afternoons
  • Entrance fee (including a lounger ~€15)
  • Narrow winding road, drive carefully

Getting there: Private transfer 25 min recommended · round-trip taxi 500 TL · no minibus

4. Guzelcamli National Park (Dilek Peninsula)

One of Turkey's most famous National Parks. Contains four different coves (Aydinlik, Kalamaki, Icmeler, Karasu).

Pros:

  • Crystal-clear Aegean water (8-10 m visibility)
  • Camping, trekking, picnic areas
  • Wildlife: wild goats, turtles, eagles
  • Ancient caves (Zeus Cave)
  • Entrance €5 (per vehicle), the beaches free

Cons:

  • 4-8 km from the entrance to the beaches (a car is essential)
  • No restaurant/café (bring drinks and food)
  • Toilets + showers are limited
  • Weekends in summer the park may close (capacity)

Getting there: Private transfer 35 min + driving inside the park (all included, your driver takes you around the coves)

Which cove should you pick?

| Cove | Who it's for | |---|---| | Aydinlik | Family, shallow water, easy access | | Kalamaki | Photographer, secluded, deep water | | Icmeler | Rest after trekking, mountain views | | Karasu | Calm, hard to reach, most secluded |

5. Pygale Beach

A semi-hidden beach on the Davutlar road. A local favourite.

Pros:

  • Almost no tourists
  • Clear water, clean sand
  • Local restaurant + fresh fish, village style
  • Entrance free

Cons:

  • No minibus, you have to drive
  • Pebbly entry to the sea (barefoot is hard)
  • At weekends locals fill it up too

Getting there: Private vehicle only · Taxi ~400 TL (round-trip difficult)

For cruise passengers

Your time on the ship is tight. The fastest beach options:

  2. Paradise Beach — 30 min each way, a 3-hour mini escape

If the ship is in port 10+ hours, Guzelcamli National Park is possible (half day).

Tips

  • Sunscreen — 50+ SPF, water-resistant, summer sun is fierce
  • Towel — hotel towels usually aren't used at the beach, bring your own

  • Swim caps — mandatory for children (seawater thanks)
  • Small change (20-50 TL) — for parking, toilets, ice cream

A multi-beach day with a transfer

With a private vehicle you can compare multiple beaches in one day:

  • Morning at Ladies Beach — 1.5 hours
  • Lunch at Paradise Beach — eat + swim 2 hours
  • Afternoon via Long Beach back to the hotel

A 4-5 hour tour like this is €130-150 in a 7-seat Vito. Split across 4 people that's €35 each.
