Winter Kusadasi Transfer: Price Perks and Routes
Kusadasi transfer from November to March: low-season discounts, Pamukkale thermal tours, empty ancient sites and winter package prices, 2026 guide.
When you say Kusadasi, most people think of summer — beaches, cruise ships, open-air bars. But winter offers a different stillness: empty seaside promenades, the columns of Ephesus almost to yourself, transfer prices 30–40% lower, and the ideal weather for the nearby thermal pools of Pamukkale. In this guide we explain how to pay less and travel better in the low season (November–March).
Winter advantages at a glance
- Transfer prices: 20–35% below the summer rate
- Ephesus crowds: No cruise ships, 300 visitors per day instead of 5,000
- Weather: A mild Aegean winter — 10–17°C, plenty of sunny days
- Thermal tourism: The ideal season to swim in Pamukkale's 35°C water
- Accommodation: Hotels 40–50% cheaper
- Roads: Traffic-free; Kusadasi–İzmir drops to 1 hour
Winter transfer price advantages
Standard tariffs apply during the high summer season (15 June–15 September). From November to March we apply a dedicated winter discount:
| Route | Summer price | Winter price | Discount | |---|---|---|---| | İzmir Airport – Kusadasi (sedan) | €60 | €45 | 25% | | İzmir Airport – Kusadasi (Vito) | €85 | €65 | 23% | | Bodrum Airport – Kusadasi | €140 | €110 | 21% | | Kusadasi – Pamukkale (full day) | €280 | €210 | 25% | | Kusadasi – Ephesus (waiting included) | €75 | €55 | 26% |
We also apply an extra weekday discount: 10% off for Monday–Thursday reservations. Booking 72 hours ahead gets a €15 early-booking gift.
Pamukkale in winter: the right time, in our opinion
The best time to see Pamukkale is neither summer nor spring — it is winter. Reasons:
- Travertine pools: Your feet burn in summer; in winter you walk comfortably in calcium-rich water
- Hierapolis ancient city: 40°C in summer, 12°C in winter — comfortable strolling
- Antique Pool (Cleopatra's Pool): a constant 35°C — stepping out of the cold air into warm water is paradise
- Photos: blue sky + white travertine, no haze, crisp shots
- Crowds: 15,000 people per day in summer; 2,000 in winter
Winter Pamukkale itinerary (full day):
- 07:00 departure from Kusadasi
- 10:30 arrival in Pamukkale
- 10:45 Travertine + Hierapolis tour (3 hours)
- 13:45 Lunch (Karahayıt or Pamukkale village)
- 15:00 1 hour of swimming in Cleopatra's Pool (+€15 entry)
- 16:30 Return
- 20:00 Kusadasi hotel
Private transfer package €210 (sedan, 3 passengers) or €290 (Vito, 7 passengers). Lunch and entry tickets not included.
Ephesus in winter: a solo history experience
In summer you queue to take a photo in front of the Library of Celsus. In winter — especially mid-January on a weekday — you can find yourself alone in front of the library square.
- Entrance fee: Same (~€40 foreigner)
- Tour duration: Easy in 2 hours (vs. 3 hours in summer with crowds)
- Weather: January average 10°C; coat + hat is enough
- Rain: 40% probability. But Ephesus is mostly open-air; on rainy days pick early morning
- House of the Virgin Mary: 3 km uphill, included the same day; indoors, unaffected by rain
Winter Half-Day Ephesus package: pickup from Kusadasi hotel + Ephesus (waiting) + return, sedan €55, Vito €80.
For those who don't like being alone — add Şirince
In winter, the village of Şirince is wrapped in mist with chimney smoke rising from wooden houses. Village wineries are more active in the cold — fig, mulberry and blackberry wines are warming tastes.
The Ephesus + Şirince combo is ideal in winter:
- 09:00 departure from Kusadasi
- 09:30 Ephesus
- 11:30 House of the Virgin Mary
- 12:30 Şirince (lunch + wine tasting)
- 15:00 return to Kusadasi
Full package €90 (sedan) / €130 (Vito). Lunch + wine tasting at your expense (€20–30 per person).

Airport transfer — winter flight cancellations
Snow or fog cancellations are rare in Turkish aviation but do happen in winter. Our policy:
- Flight cancellation: 100% deposit refund or transfer to a new date with documentation (airline paperwork)
- Delay (6+ hours): Driver waits free of charge at the airport (if no other transfer is scheduled)
- Re-planning: WhatsApp available 24/7; notify 30 minutes in advance
Dual-season strategy: winter + summer
Our regular guests come to Kusadasi in winter for 10 days, then return for summer. The strategy:
- Cheap winter accommodation + transfers
- Lock in summer dates before prices rise → guaranteed rates
- Experience the same places in different seasons (Şirince summer × winter; Ephesus summer × winter)
Book both transfers at the same time and we apply a 10% bonus discount.
