Selcuk town, the Ephesus Museum, the Temple of Artemis column and St John's Basilica all sit within a few kilometres; many visitors combine two or three of them. Outside the main gate, the Temple of Artemis and the Selcuk museum round out the day.

The Terrace Houses need a separate ticket inside the site and repay it with mosaics and frescoes. Ephesus is the headline ancient site of the region: the Celsus Library, the 25,000-seat Great Theatre, Curetes Street, the Terrace Houses and, 8 km away on the mountain, the House of Virgin Mary.

Tell the driver which gate you want to exit. Tickets are sold at both gates and card is accepted; having payment ready keeps the morning line short.

The marble underfoot is polished in places; shoes with grip beat sandals here, especially on the slope of Curetes Street. The car drops you at one end and waits at the other, so there is no backtracking up the hill.

You ride in a Mercedes Vito, seven seats and air conditioning included. Space is not an issue: 6-7 large cases plus cabin bags fit easily. For families, child seats are already fitted when the car arrives.

Fare, payment and cancellation

Pricing is per vehicle and settled in EUR at booking. Nothing is charged in advance: the driver takes cash, or you pay by card online. No deposit is taken, and cancelling is free until a day before.

Yes. Sirince village, the Temple of Artemis and restaurant stops are common add-ons. Mention it at booking and the driver plans the timing.

Is there a guide on the trip?

The service is transport with a local driver, not a guided tour. If you want a licensed guide as well, mention it when booking and we arrange one separately.
