Arriving at Pamukkale

A typical day runs like this: hotel pickup around 08:00, arrival about 11:00, four to five hours on site, a lunch stop, and you are back at the hotel around 19:00. The driver drops you at the entrance that fits your plan, usually the south gate by the terraces, and agrees the pickup spot before you go in.

The standard plan leaves Ladies Beach in the morning, gives you a full afternoon window at the terraces and Hierapolis, and returns before dinner. Waiting time at the site is part of the service.

How early to set off

Morning pickup between 08:00 and 09:00 is the usual choice: the drive is about 180 minutes each way, and an early arrival means cooler travertines and shorter queues at the antique pool. You get four to five hours on site and reach Soleil Hotel again by early evening.

Taxis wait at the site for the way back, with the fare agreed on the spot. If you would rather have the return settled before you leave Soleil Hotel, a booked car waits at the gate.

Some hotels resell seats on group coaches. A private driver waits on site and the return is agreed in advance.
