The road to Ephesus

Your driver knows the Ephesus run well. The local part is only the Selcuk road past the national park turn-off out of Pamucak; after that the driver keeps a steady line to Ephesus.

The road out of Pamucak picks up the Selcuk road past the national park turn-off and stays on divided highway for most of the 18 km. In season the first kilometres near the coast can be slow; the highway stretch is quick.

The pickup, step by step

A day before the ride you get the driver's name and plate on WhatsApp. Bags go straight into the boot and you are off.

The driver arrives at the Pine Bay Holiday Resort entrance five to ten minutes before the agreed time and helps with bags. The driver helps with suitcases, fits any pre-booked child seats, and you are on the road within minutes of pickup.

About the vehicle

A private Mercedes Vito does the run, with seating for up to seven. The boot takes 6-7 large suitcases; cabin bags travel with you. Child seats (infant, child, booster) are free when you give us age and weight at booking.

The vehicle is a Mercedes Vito reserved for your party alone. Luggage allowance is generous: six to seven big cases plus hand luggage. Child seats arrive fitted free; just leave the children's ages on the form.

Travel notes

The House of Virgin Mary sits 8 km up the mountain from the site; if you want it on the same trip, mention it at booking and the driver plans the order. The driver waits at your exit gate, so the pace inside is yours.

Tell the driver which gate you want to exit. Tickets are sold at both gates and card is accepted; having payment ready keeps the morning line short.

Paying for the transfer

The fare is agreed in EUR before the ride and does not move with traffic, weather or the clock. The driver takes cash in EUR, USD or TL; paying online by card works too. Plans change: cancellation stays free until 24 hours before pickup.

The Pamucak side of things

If your resort has more than one entrance, tell us the block or lobby name when booking; the driver goes to the right one. The Selcuk road is close, so the highway leg starts almost immediately.

Can we be dropped somewhere else on the way back?

Within reason, yes: the centre, a restaurant or the port works fine if you arrange it with the driver or the office.
